Science Alive, the hands-on science education organization, has long established itself at the forefront of Michigan's educational resources. Through personalized, interactive school classroom presentations with live reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals,  Science Alive brings the study of science to life for students kindergarten through junior high.

No "Assembly" Required 

All Science Alive presentations occur in the individual classroom where teaching and learning come most naturally. Our organization, founded on the strong principle that learning begins by doing, believes that proper understanding and appreciation for science and the biological world is born at the grassroots elementary level, during a child's formative years. Science Alive programs, developed and delivered by experienced biologists and teachers, nurture the natural curiosity and inquisitiveness in all young people and demonstrate that science is an important part of our everyday lives.

Hands-On Pays Off

Our focus is scientific inquiry through hands-on investigation. Whether it's sensing the weight of a python, the warmth of a kangaroo, or the cool damp of a salamander, each child's discovery is fueled by a fuller understanding of and appreciation for the Scientific Method. Our decades-long mission is to promote  scientific literacy through science education. The key is hands-on interpretation. We believe that no better teaching tool exists.
